Just completed is a successful tour for 100 girls and staff of St Catherine’s School, Bramley to the WW1 battlefields. Two days with visits to the Ypres Salient and the Somme as well as a concluding stop at Louvencourt Cemetery to visit the grave of Vera Brittain’s fiancé, Roland Leighton.

Girls were fantastic contributing through reading poetry, asking and answering questions and making an outstanding tour. Weather helped as well.
