Another successful tour completed. This for a lovely Australian couple from Albury, New South Wales. They travelled to see the battlefields in general so visits to Villers-Bretonneux, Pozieres and Bullecourt during the day. But specific visits to Ville-sur-Ancre as a grandfather won the Distinguished Conduct Medal in helping to capture the village. Also to Noreuil as Albury has a park named after the village – the Albury Battery made a last ditch stand on the edge of the village in 1917.

The couple have kindly said

Many, many thanks for your tour and the preparation of the document around my grandfather’s exploits. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and your company in particular and will have no hesitation in recommending your tours. Your depth of knowledge is equalled only by your passion!
